Poet and translator, Haydée Touitou began experimenting with poetry in 2019. She has published works in Worms Magazine, Apartamento, and The Plant among others (online portfolio available at www.haydeetouitou.com). In 2020, her first book We Have Been Meaning To was published followed by In Constant Hilarity in 2021.
 
The present collection — Still Life Poems / Poèmes Nature More — gathers the twenty-seven poems of the latter as part of a larger group written firstly in English. Haydée Touitou later took on the translation in her native language French. Making this hundred poems in English inseparable from the French version, united within a single bilingual "Tête-Bêche" book published by L.A. based pois é and distributed internationally.
 
Still Life Poems will celebrate their US release at Book/Shop (Oakland) on October 13th and Tomorrow Today (Los Angeles) on October 19th with an audiotape exclusively available for the US launch.
